Performing breast self-exam in combination with other screening methods can increase the odds of early detection. I have found myself doing this more often then usual finding out some one close Has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

@jessica, you're totally right. I am extremely happy mine was caught early. Thanks to self examination. I cannot express how important it is to self check and make routine checkups with your doctorr. 💕

Agree with you all! That is how i felt my lump, through self-exam. It wasn't a big lump, but i followed up with my doctor. I am glad i did.

I absolutely agree. I was not doing a self-exam when I found my lump, but if I was vigilant about the importance of it, I know  FOR SURE I would have noticed my lump earlier.... after my diagnosis I follow the #FeelItOnTheFirst created by stage4 mbc thriver Nalie Augustin and do a self-exam the first of every month

I agree with you ladies 💕 Learning someone close to me is battling breast cancer makes me understand the importance of self examination and paying more attention to my body.
